The course

Lessons are given for groups of two students (in one hour sessions) on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

This course focusses on harmonies and on different types of accompaniment. Special attention goes to rhythm and the left hand.

The teacher

Aurel Budisteanu is the nephew of Ionel Budisteanu and Ion Voicu, well-known Romanians. He studied the accordion since he was 13 with well-known Roma musician Andréi Masloi. At 15 he started the Bucharest Art School and performed at parties and weddings. You could also find him with the best Romanian musicians: Toni Iordache, George Zamfir, Radu Simion, Ion Laceanu,... Aurel Budisteanu is specialised in music from the Balkans but can also teach many other styles (waltzes, tangos,..).

Possibility to hire or acquire an instrument through the teacher. Accordions can be hired for 25€ a month.
