The programme:

Throughout the year, Piet Maris invites you on 9 sessions with the accordions ensemble. One Monday per month, you will learn to play as an ensemble with a varied repertoire under the leadership of an experienced performer. (Check the dates below)

The course is divided in two parts: First we will work in small groups according to the level of playing, which allows all the students to enrich their repertoire. Afterwards, all students will take part in a big accordion band: New Accordion Harmony .

Each course we begin a new piece, and we regularly refresh the repertoire of past sessions. Examples of the repertoire we have gone through in the past years : sad waltz, accordion, bourrees, la cumparsita, la mal-aimable, cocek.

The programme is suited for both beginning and advanced players of the chromatic accordion.

In order to assure a continuous learning process we recommend you to take the full programme of 9 sessions (90€). Nevertheless, can also pay per session (11 € per session).

The teacher:

Piet Maris is the driving force behind Jaune Toujours and Mec Yek.
