For the 12th year in a row, the excellent radio programme « Le Monde est un Village » (on La Première), presents the « Nuits Nomades » in collaboration with Muziekpublique. These two evenings will present local musicans who are either well-known or very promising.
Saturday night will revisit Sophie Cavez and Baltazar Montanaro’s intense accordion playing. Etoile Musette will give us a pretty and original tour of the musette.
No, you are not wrong : Le Monde est un Village has already recorded a cd with the accordionist Sophie Cavez and violinist Baltazar Montanaro. They impressed us so much with their initimacy and universality that we decided to open the doors of our studio to them once again. Escales proposes melodies thought up during meetings with people or concerts given in various places. The chemistry beween the musicians is intact ; palpable through their silences, looks and gestures. And rest assured, you will not be excluded from their process ; they need you to be themselves !
A trio of musicians will then take over with a completely new project that may surprise you…Etoile Musette ! Accordionist Raquel Gigot (Orion), guitarist Dominique Pierard et bagpiper Arnaud Degimbe will introduce us to this special musical genre from a geographical and cultural point of view. Travel, encounters, identity, origins, exchange and of course emotion, carry this trio. Paris, the Auvergne and even Italy have been used in their surprising and interesting approach.
Free entrance after reservation from 26/3 on via www.lapremiere.be
