This course can help to improve your ability to improvise, play in a group, play by ear and sing an accompaniment. The basic repertoire is music from the Balkans and Eastern Europe, with a particular focus on ornamentation, asymmetrical rhythms and breathing control.
The emphasis of this course is on teamwork, improvisation an arrangements but at the same time working on technique with a varied repertoire. We work in both large and small groups.
